1st West Asia O-Sport Federation Meeting

After several years’ effort, the O-Sport has been grown in west Asia, and has a special position among the countries of this region, Iran, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and UAE.

According to the decision of WOF board of directors on 2010, and regarding general assembly, West Asia O-Sport Federation should start working under FAOS Secretariat.

Finally, Mr.Samad Valizadeh from Iran was appointed by as Acting president, until the time of holding general assembly FAOS President,

Mr. Valizadeh, in the first attempt, organized the West Asian coordination meeting.

In this meeting, the following persons were appointed to the following positions, until the time of west Asia general assembly.

  1. Mr. Samad valizadeh Acting President
  2. Engineer Jamshid Taghzadeh acting Secretary General
  3. Dr. Mohammad Soltanifar Acting Vice-President
  4. Engineer Saeid Sharifzadeh Treasurer
  5. Mr.Akbar Sadeghi International Communication Manager

 

Also, it was decided to hold the first General assembly of west Asia federation during 8th WOF World championship of November 2013.

Establishing office of west Asia in Tehran is among the agendas of acting board of director of west Asia.

The second meeting coordination of West Asia O-sport Federation was hold in 14th May of 2013 at the building of ministry of Technology and Communication at office of vice-minister Engineer Saeid Sharifzadeh with presence of the following members at 5 PM started and finished at 16:30 PM.

  1. Master Mohammad Manouchehri WOF Founder and Secretary General
  2. Mr. Farid Naghdi WOF Vice-President
  3. Dr. Jasem Manouchehri WOF Athlete committee chairman
  4. Mr. Samad valizadeh WAOSF Acting President
  5. Engineer Jamshid Taghzadeh WAOSF Acting Secretary General
  6. Dr. Mohammad Soltanifar WAOSF Acting Vice-President
  7. Engineer Saeid Sharifzadeh WAOSF Treasurer

 

Also the following results were obtained:  

  • West Asian O-Sport Federation with cooperation of applied Science University will open Master of Science course officially from 2014.
  • West Asian O-Sport Federation Secretariat will be locating in Tehran the capital of I.R of Iran.
  • Next West Asian O-Sport Federation acting leaders meeting will be held on 28th May at building of ministry of Technology and Communication ministry of I.R of Iran.
