Hygiene Protocol & Protective Measures

  1. Entry Screening
    1. Temperature check and symptoms screening (cough, runny nose, sore throat, difficulty in breathing)
    2. Patrons details to be noted down for contact tracing purposes.
    3. Guest with temperature above 37.4 degrees Celsius will be rejected from entering the venue.
    4. Operators / centres are encouraged to use “My Sejahtera” app.
       
  2. Facemask and PPE
    1. Staff required to wear face mask when interacting with customer in an non-exercise role (cashier counter, café staff etc)
    2. Patrons are required to wear facemask during check-in and check-out process
    3. Patrons must wear facemask when not engaging in physical activity
    4. Patrons who do not have a facemask during entry or refuse to wear a facemask when not engaging in physical activities should be asked to leave centre / facility.
       
  3. Hand Sanitizer
    1. Hand Sanitizer to be placed at entry point and compulsory use by staff member after handling of objects such as money.
    2. Operators are recommended to use liquid chalk with 70% alcohol ratio to replace powder chalk
    3. Should an operator be unable to obtain liquid chalk it is recommended for the patrons to wear gloves instead.
  4. Obstacle cleaning
    1. Spray bottle cleaning kit stations setup and staff are required to sanitize obstacle holds / contact surface after every use.
    2. Operators to carry obstacle, obstacle sanitization spray/fogging/cleaning 3 times daily or every 4 hours
  5. Surface & Facility Cleaning & Equipment Rental
    1. Cleaning & disinfecting to be performed every 4 hours within the operation hours.
    2. Facilities such as toilets, cafes, accessory store, to be cleaned and sanitized every 4 hours during operations. All rented equipment to be cleaned and sterilized after every use. Occupancy Flow & Capacity Limit
  1. Capacity Limits
    1. Manual or electronic registration (Name, Contact Number, Date, Time, Temperature)
    2. Maintain Capacity limit that does not exceed 1 customer / 5m2
    3. Staff to monitor movement of patrons entering, within premises and exiting
    4. No physical contact between patrons, members, personal trainers and all staff
    5. Staff to monitor and remind social distancing within facility
    6. Training courses and programs to be limited based on facility capacity distancing each patron to 1 – 3 meters apart for static activities and 3 – 5 meters apart for dynamic activities.
    7. Static activities include weight lifting, running on treadmill & static workouts and Dynamic activities pertains to activities such as running, obstacle training, climbing.

Limitations

  1. Centres / gyms are not allowed to host any local/domestic/regional/ international competitions / championships till further notice or without prior approval from the authorities.
  2. Centres / gyms are not allowed to conduct mass gathering of patrons at their respective centres and must adhere to guidelines of 1 – 3 meters distancing for all patrons not engaging in physical activities.
  3. Centres / gyms must adhere to the government’s advice which might vary from time to time depending on the situation of the pandemic.
